About Sarah

Sarah Baker became interested in dog training at the age of 13, which led to her raising her first Guide Dog puppy.  She ended up raising 5 more Guide Dog puppies and 7 service dog puppies, and in 2000 made a career in training dogs and started teaching obedience classes.  She first started in agility in 2008, and quickly became hooked.

In 2015, Sarah made AKC history by winning the National Agility Championship with both her border collie, Hops, in 20" and her Novice A dog, labrador retriever, Rice, in 20" Preferred at the same event.  Later that year, both Hops and Rice made multiple podium appearances at the USDAA Cynosport World Championships.  She rounded out the year by winning a spot onto the 2016 European Open team with Hops, after finishing the tryout event in a cumulative first place.  In March, Hops & Sarah upheld their title as NAC champion by repeating their win in the 20" class.  You can watch their Finals run here

In addition to Hops and Rice, Sarah competes with her All-American, Dillon, who has had a successful career including being ranked as the #1 mixed breed dog in AKC Agility in 2014.  Based in the Pacific Northwest, Sarah teaches foundations through competition classes, and works with dogs of all breeds and sizes.
